Model Titanic Sinks at Night
A 30″ Academy-Minicraft model Titanic sinks at night. The model weighs approximately five pounds empty and has nine semi-watertight compartments inside. Total sinking time is approximately two minutes, though this video only shows the final plunge. The model is retrieved after each sinking by fishing line tied to the bow. RECOMMENDED: Full-screen viewing. The lighting conditions aren’t the best, but they are likely historically authentic.
